1. What Riymo is

Riymo helps you find people near you who share your rhythms, the things you do consistently, like a morning run, a regular café, a gym schedule, or study nights. You set your rhythms, and Riymo surfaces nearby people whose rhythms overlap with yours.

You can stay in passive presence (Sync) so shared rhythms surface quietly, or share a rhythm moment (Drop) when you are out and open to company. You follow people you like, keep the closest in your Orbit, and become Mutuals with those who follow you back and trade a message. You can also form a crew, a small group who share a rhythm, with its own group chat. Riymo is for finding your people; what grows from there is up to you.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Riymo. This is enforced at sign-up and is a firm requirement, not a suggestion. By using Riymo you confirm you are at least 18, that the date of birth you provide is accurate, and that you can form a binding agreement. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 18, we remove it.

3. Your account

You may sign in with email and a password, with Apple, or with Google. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@riymoapp.com if you notice unauthorized use.

You complete a short onboarding (your rhythms and profile) before your account becomes active to others. You can delete your account at any time from Settings, Delete account, which permanently removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy. Accounts that never verify their email or never finish onboarding are removed automatically.

4. Acceptable use

Be a decent human. Do not harass, threaten, stalk, impersonate, or deceive, and do not post content that is illegal, hateful, sexually exploitative, or that infringes anyone’s rights.

Do not scrape, reverse-engineer, overload, or try to bypass the security, rate limits, or access controls of the service, and do not use Riymo to send spam or to collect other people’s information. You can block and report anyone at any time; we may remove content, limit features, or suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.

5. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users

Riymo has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. Content that is threatening, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit or exploitative, or otherwise objectionable, and the accounts that post it, is not permitted.

You can report any content or user from where it appears (a profile, message, or rhythm moment) and block any user instantly to cut off all contact. When you submit a report we review it and act within 24 hours, removing the content and suspending or permanently removing the responsible account.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you create: your profile details, rhythms, photos, rhythm moments, direct and crew messages, reactions, and comments. You grant Riymo a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, and display that content solely to operate and provide the service to you and the people you share it with.

You are responsible for what you share and for having the right to share it. Photos are stripped of embedded location and camera metadata (EXIF) on upload and are screened by automated content moderation before they are shared; objectionable images are blocked and removed. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users, and we act on reports within 24 hours.

7. Location and visibility

Riymo uses approximate location to help you discover people who share your rhythms nearby. Your location is coarsened to a city or district area on your device; precise GPS coordinates are not stored against your profile. Granting location permission is optional.

You control what others see: go Incognito, hide your active hours, or pause location sharing at any time in Settings, Privacy and Safety, and change or revoke location and contacts permissions in your device settings.

8. Meeting people safely

Riymo helps people connect, but you are responsible for your own safety when meeting or interacting with others. Meet in public, tell someone where you are going, and trust your judgment. Riymo does not conduct background checks on users.

9. Notifications and communications

With your permission, Riymo sends push notifications (for example new messages or people who share your rhythms). You control these per type in Settings, Notifications, and in your device settings.

We also send necessary account emails, such as verifying your address, resetting your password, and a welcome message when you finish setting up. These are part of the service. Marketing emails, if we ever send them, are optional and you can opt out.

10. Third-party services

If you sign in with Apple or Google, your use of those sign-in services is also governed by their terms. Riymo is distributed through the Apple App Store and, in future, Google Play; your use of the app is also subject to the applicable store’s terms. The Privacy Policy lists the providers that process data on our behalf.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use and protect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using Riymo you also agree to the Privacy Policy.

12. Termination

You may stop using Riymo and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect users or the service.

13. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Riymo is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not fully apply to you.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If we make material changes we will notify you in the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law and contact
